What is the Spain Golden Visa?
The Spain Golden Visa is a residency program designed for foreign investors looking the opportunity to live and work in Spain. Through this program, investors can obtain a long-term residency permit by making an investment in the country, whether in real estate, business or other forms of investment permitted by the program’s regulations.
The Spain Golden Visa offers investors and their families the possibility to reside legally in Spain. In some cases, to travel freely within the Schengen area.
In addition, in order to apply for the Spain Golden Visa, it is not necessary for the petitioner to apply physically in Spain. They can simply designate a representative to collect the relevant documentation for them.

Documents for the Spain Golden Visa Application

- Passport.
- Evidence of payment of Fee 038 (form 790).
- Private or public health insurance with full coverage in Spain.

You can use one of the following documents to support your investment:
1.Real estate investment: As evidence of the purchase of the property, you must provide the certificate of ownership and charges from the Land Registry.
2.Investment in Spanish stocks or shares: A declaration of the investment from the Registro de Inversiones del Ministerio de Economía in the case of shareholdings; and a certificate from the financial intermediary registered with the Comisión Nacional de Mercado de Valores for the purchase of shares.
3.Investment in Spanish public debt: You will need a certificate from the Bank of Spain or from the financial institution with which you have managed the investment in which it is clear that you are the owner of the purchase.
4.Investments in bank deposits: You will need the certificate issued by the financial institution with which you have contracted the deal, stating that you are the unique owner of the deposit.
Conditions for the Spain Golden Visa Application
- Not being a citizen of a member country of the European Union. As we mentioned before, this special residence permit is designed for citizens of countries outside this zone, who have a much more difficult time obtaining a visa in Spain.
- Be of legal age (+18 in Spain).
- Have no criminal record, either in Spain or in any other country. The period to be taken into account will be the last 5 years.
- Have health care coverage in Spain. This can be through public insurance or private insurance. Travel insurance or insurance from the country of origin is not useful; it must belong to an insurance company in Spain.
- To have and prove the possession of sufficient financial resources to support both the main investor and their family if the application is made for them as well.
- Making the relevant investment (whether 500,000, €1M or €2M depending on which path is chosen), and provide the corresponding document to prove it.

They have made a big mistake with my taxes and I have lost the right to a flat rate which means I will be charged 3 x as much per month for being autonomo as I should be. Haven't responded at all to my complaint, no apology no justification nothing. Please use a legit Spanish company like Vilar & associates who are not trying to resolve this issue for me. Don't waste your money. *update* I have just found just found out I am in debt of over 3000 euros to the government because of this company's incompetence. I have contacted them with my complain but of course no response. Having just had a baby and on maternity leave until recently, now finding out I owe this and I paid this company to sort these issues for me but they have well and truly dropped me in the ***. will be taking legal action.

En mi caso me ofrecieron un servicio que no era acorde an mis necesidades solo porque el valor era superior . Pedí un reembolso y no han sido capaces de reembolsar el dinero. Tampoco completaron el servicio.
