What is the Digital Kit?
More than €3 billion in aid
It is an initiative of the Spanish Government, managed by Red.es under the Recovery Plan with EU funds (NextGenerationEU) to help the digitization of SMEs, micro-enterprises, and the self-employed.
It provides a digital voucher that can be exchanged for technological solutions listed in an official catalog and implemented by authorized digitizing agents.
Deadlines and calls for applications in 2025
Segment III (0 to fewer than 3 employees)
Deadline for applications: October 31, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in Spain.
Companies with 50 to fewer than 100 employees and 100 to fewer than 250 employees:
Deadline for applications: Until June 30, 2025.

Who is it aimed at?
It is intended for micro-enterprises, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with up to 49 employees, and autónomos who want to drive their digital transformation.

How much is the bonus amount?
It depends on the size of the company:
- Autónomo workers and micro-enterprises (0-<3 employees): up to €3,000.
- Medium-sized SMEs (50-100 employees): up to €25,000.
- Large SMEs (100-250 employees): up to €29,000.
Is the Digital Kit collected in cash?
No. The digital bonus is not cash. It is a credit that can be used to purchase technology solutions from the official catalog through digitizing agents.
Do I have to pay VAT?
Yes. VAT on solutions is not subsidized by the digital bonus; it is paid by the beneficiary.
How long do I have to use the bonus? And what happens if I don't use it all?
Once granted, there is a specific period of time to sign the agreement with the agent and implement the solution (usually between 6 and 12 months, depending on the call for proposals).
What happens if it is not used in full? The voucher only covers up to the maximum amount allocated and is not refundable in cash. If you do not use it in full, the unused portion is lost.
Is it compatible with other aid or subsidies?
Yes, provided that the de minimis aid limit established by European regulations is not exceeded.
