Pay close attention to the steps you must know to cancel an immigration appointment<\/strong> but we tell you beforehand that the process is very simple<\/strong> and it will look very familiar to you because it has almost all the same steps as if you were going to request a new immigration appointment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please note that you can only request a single appointment, if you want to reschedule you must cancel the one you already have<\/strong> and find a date for a new one. However, it is usually very difficult to find an upcoming appointment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cancel an immigration appointment online: step by step<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To start, you must access<\/strong> the “Cita Previa de Extranjer\u00eda” option in the Immigration section in the Electronic Office of Public Administrations<\/strong><\/a>, as if you were going to request a new appointment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the page is loaded, look for the red button at the bottom of the page to Access the Procedure.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After clicking on the button, a screen will appear where you must select the province<\/strong> where you requested the appointment. Look for the one that corresponds to you and click on the Accept<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the new section, you will select the procedure for which you requested the immigration appointment; either in Tr\u00e1mites de Oficina de Extranjer\u00eda o en Tr\u00e1mites Cuerpo Nacional de Polic\u00eda<\/strong>. Scroll down to the Enter<\/strong> button and click on it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the new screen will appear the spaces in which you should enter your personal data like the NIE<\/strong> or PASSPORT<\/strong>, write the one you used to request the immigration appointment, validate the Captcha and click on the Accept<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once on this new screen, click on the Anular Cita <\/strong>button. <\/strong>Next, you should write your CI, NIF, NIE or PASSPORT data and enter the Appointment Proof Number<\/strong>. Click on the Consultar<\/strong> button. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the next screen, it is shown the data of the appointment<\/strong> (Number of the Appointment Proof, Address, Date of the appointment, Time, Table, etc) and a checkbox that you must tick which says “Doy mi autorizaci\u00f3n para la cancelaci\u00f3n de esta cita<\/strong>” (I authorize the cancellation of this appointment).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, click on the ANULAR CITA button.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s it! Your immigration appointment should have been canceled successfully<\/strong>. And how can you be sure? A window will appear confirming the request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When finished, click on Accept<\/strong> and you will be redirected to the page with the options to request a new appointment<\/strong>, check it, cancel it or exit the page. You can choose the option you want.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remember that if you want to “reschedule” or request a new appointment<\/strong>, you must cancel the previous appointments you have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
