{"id":1325,"date":"2020-05-11T15:59:51","date_gmt":"2020-05-11T13:59:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/entretramites.com\/en\/?page_id=1325"},"modified":"2023-02-06T20:58:06","modified_gmt":"2023-02-06T19:58:06","slug":"form-ex11","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/entretramites.com\/en\/downloadables\/immigration-forms\/form-ex11","title":{"rendered":"Form EX11: Application for a long-term residence permit or a EU long-term residence permit"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>Officially known in Spanish as: &#8220;Solicitud de autorizaci\u00f3n de residencia de larga duraci\u00f3n o de larga duraci\u00f3n-UE&#8221;.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through <strong>Form EX11<\/strong>, a long-term residence permit is requested, which grants indefinite residence and work in Spain under the same conditions as any Spanish national.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Therefore, Form EX11 includes the following types of permits to a:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Person who has been continuously resident in Spain for 5 years (art. 148.1).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Resident in Spain in the 2 years immediately preceding and 3 or more in another Member State, with a EU Blue Card (art. 148.1).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Resident who is a beneficiary of a contributory retirement pension (art. 148.3.a)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Resident beneficiary of absolute permanent incapacity or severe disability (art. 148.3.b)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Resident in the three years immediately preceding the application, &gt;18 years of age and born in Spain (art. 148.3.c)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Spanish of origin who has lost Spanish nationality (art. 148.3.d)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Resident under the guardianship of a public entity for 5 consecutive years immediately preceding reaching legal age (art. 148.3.e)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stateless persons or refugees in Spanish territory with recognized status (art. 148.3.f).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Holder of a EU long-term residence permit in another Member State (art. 155).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Family member of a holder of a EU long-term residence permit in another Member State (art. 156).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Holder of a long-term residence permit who has ceased to be a long-term resident (art. 158)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Child born in Spain who is the child of a long-term residence permit holder (art.185)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"paraqusirve\">What is Form EX11 for?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It is used to <strong>request a long-term residence permit<\/strong> that authorizes you to reside and work in Spanish territory indefinitely.&nbsp;In addition, in the cases in which the <strong>EU long-term residence permit<\/strong> is requested, the possibility of obtaining a residence or residence and work permit in other Member States of the European Union is granted, according to the conditions that these determine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"quinpuedesolicitarlo\">Who can request it?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>foreigner that meets all the conditions<\/strong> stated above will have to request it personally.&nbsp;In the same way, if you are a resident of Spain, you can also request it through a legal representative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"culessonlosdocumentosquesedebenajuntarconlasolicitud\">What are the documents that must be attached along with Form EX11?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Depending on the type of permit requested, it will require certain additional documents.
