nationality, the corresponding stay visa at the Spanish Diplomatic Mission or Consular Office where they live.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Form EX04 <\/strong>includes the following types of permits:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Higher education student in an internship program.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Higher education student bound by an internship work contract.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"culessonlasactividadesexceptuadas\">What activities are exempted in Form EX04?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The exempted activities will be the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Technicians and scientists, invited or hired by the State, the Autonomous Communities, universities, and local entities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Professors, technicians, researchers, and scientists invited or hired by a Spanish university.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Management, teaching or research staff of cultural or educational institutions dependent on other States.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Civil or military officials of foreign Administrations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Foreign media correspondents who carry out their informative activity in Spain.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Members of international scientific missions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Artists in specific performances that do not exceed five continuous days or twenty days of performance in a period of less than six months.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Religious ministers and members of the church.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Foreigners who are part of representative bodies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Foreign minors of working age who are supervised by an entity for the protection of minors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"qurequisitosformalestienelasolicitud\">What are the formal requirements for the application?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The applicant must present the filled-out <strong>Form EX04<\/strong> and a copy along with a complete copy of the passport, travel title, or registration document with a minimum validity of four months, the supporting documentation of the case of exception to the work permit.&nbsp;And in the event of not being a resident in Spain at the time of the application, they must also hand in the criminal record certificate issued by the authorities of the country of origin (or the country in which they have resided for the last five years) and their medical certificate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"dndepuedepresentarselasolicitud\">Where can the application be submitted?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The application may be submitted at the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.policia.es\/_es\/dependencias_localizador_accesible.php#li_extranjeria\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\"><strong>Immigration Office<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;of the province where the workplace is located or where the activity begins if the applicant is a resident of Spain, and otherwise, at the <strong>Spanish Diplomatic Mission or Consular Office<\/strong> in their demarcation of residence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"quplazostienelasolicitud\">What are the deadlines for the application?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>resolution of the application<\/strong> must be issued within a period of <strong>3 months<\/strong>, as of the day following the date on which the application has been entered in the Registry.&nbsp;After said period, if the Administration has not made the notification, it will be understood that the application has been
